I write this review from the perspective of a designer of Easi-Joists and (occasionally) Trussed Rafters with Merronbrook Ltd. I've worked with the team at Ecologic for nearly 3 years and can honestly say that it's been a pleasure! They create some incredibly impressive structures (check the website out!), and to be a part of that process, though sometimes challenging, is great! The information required is always there, the communication is always excellent. Rich, Jacob, Rian and Arthur (to name but a few), are a joy to work with. Long may this relationship continue.

As an experienced bricks-and-mortar developer, I wanted to take on a new challenge and build better-insulated, higher-quality homes. Our first SIPS project was a significant step, and we chose Ecologic as our SIPS partner – a choice that proved highly positive. Ecologic's team was knowledgeable, professional, and always available to guide us through each stage. Although the project came with a few challenges, including some financial hurdles due to missed build slots from bad weather delays, Ecologic did their best to support us wherever possible. The site team was exceptional, completing our 2,400 sq. ft. home in just four weeks! The quality of their SIPS panels was impressive, providing robust insulation and strength that made our build efficient and extremely sturdy. The results speak for themselves – we achieved a remarkable 0.97 air test score, an EPC rating of A, and an energy performance score of 101, which exceeded our expectations. While there is still room for Ecologic to offer a more 'complete' package (such as including full vapor barriers, scaffolding solutions, and airtightness measures), I would certainly recommend Ecologic to anyone considering SIPS panels for their project. Not only have we worked with Ecologic Sips to supply their homes with our aluminium glazing for clients, but we have also recently commissioned them to build a SIPS home in our second showroom facility in Poole. This exciting new development will help to signpost the future of sustainable and efficient self building to our customers. Ecologic Sips is a pleasure to deal with, and the professional and proactive approach of all their team is a credit to them.

We commissioned a bespoke Summerhouse with Ecologic approx 5 years ago, which we've been delighted with. At the beginning of June we noticed a dip in the floor in the entrance by the bi-fold doors. Ecologic visited and found that a portion of the wooden board under the vinyl flooring had rotted. On inspection it was concluded that a very small section of damp proof insulation hadn't been cut back during construction and this was allowing small amounts of rain water to be carried inside. Without any quibble the damp proof issue was rectified, the affected area of wooden flooring was replaced, and new click vinyl flooring was laid across the whole Summerhouse due to the existing vinyl tile flooring no longer being available. How a company reacts to something going wrong is a true measure of a business and Ecologic stepped up to the plate with superb after care service. Thank you. Pete & Mand

This review comes embarrassingly late (just two years after the build!), but this means that I can say that as well as being really happy with both the product and the support that I received, I'm able to say that the building performs really well too. I built a boiler/utility room (myself!) in my garden and Pete and the whole team were brilliant from start to finish - very patient and very helpful to a novice like me. I got loads of help with the design and then advice on the build after the panels had arrived. I don't hesitate to recommend Ecologic to anyone. Thanks guys.

We recently took receipt of a SIP garden office kit. Really fantastic experience from initial enquiry to final delivery. Very well organised, can-do outfit that took time to work through some design details - delivering a scheme that was exactly what we wanted. Completed to time and with good communication throughout, and to the pre-agreed budget - other than a few additions that arose during the construction and therefore not budgeted for originally. There were a few minor points I fed-back for continual improvement, which the company took on board and listened to. At the end of the day, definitely not the cheapest option, but I do believe you get what you pay for and I was very pleased with our choice. Whole heartedly recommend Ecologic to anyone- and we will return for subsequent orders!

We moved into our Ecologic SIPs house last summer and have been very pleased with its energy efficiency. We have now been through a winter and have been delighted with how warm the house has been with very little heating. We only put the heating on overnight when we have a cheaper electric rate and the house holds enough heat during the day and into the evening to keep the ambient temperature around 21/22 degrees. We have never needed to have the heating on upstairs and we only heat the rooms overnight that have dropped below 20 degrees. Whilst the house has become quite warm in the summer it has not been an issue. Overall it has been a very comfortable house to live in and Ecologic have been very helpful in answering any questions we have had.
